Description

Just as everything seems perfect, chaos descends upon them: the alarm siren shrieks and Elmar is the only one who realizes it's an ABC alarm. Everyone reacts in a panic to the news that an incident has occurred at the nuclear power plant less than a hundred kilometers away. No one was prepared for a situation like this; there is no disaster plan, and the huge, radioactive cloud is drifting towards Schlitz. People try to flee; Hannah's first action is to pick up Uli from elementary school and barricade herself with him in the house. Elmar had called out to her during the tumultuous rush from school to pick her up at home with the car, but first the siblings wait for their mother, or at least a phone call.
